The fiberglass, asphalt and oil used in shingles are higher quality materials than used in our roads.
Old World Roofing Recycles Because:
We're helping to lower Greenhouse gas emissions. We want to help reduce our country's dependence on foreign oil.
Why Recycle?
Asphalt shingles, which are used on 75% of residential roofs are commonly disposed of in landfills. In Colorado, the top three feet of landfill collections are recorded as shingles and 480,000,000 pounds are dumped into landfills yearly.
